Andre Agassi's book was great! It will be of help to so many people, inside and outside of tennis. So he used drugs when he was down. So what? Every criticism leveled against Agassi so far (especially from the roided out Naratilova) is based on the assumption that crystal meth would make Agassi play better. What a load of crap! On the contrary. And the last players who should comment on this subject are dumb jock Agassi rivals and sore losers like Becker, who are cheaters in their own right.

I'm certainly not defending Martina, but you missed her point entirely. Her comment was how many titles did he win when he should have been suspended for taking meth? Not how many did he win when he was on it. Obviously he didn't win any in '97. but if he was suspended when he should have been, say for the '98 season, he doesn't win five titles that year and very likely doesn't win the French in '99. Her point was there was a period when he should not have been denying rule-abiding players the opportunity to win because he shouldn't have been out there.
