Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Rob, this is a truly lovely piece. There are some players who just make the heart soar when they play, and I found Sebastien to be one of them. His nimbleness, his races to the net, his Gallic charm, his resilience over the years have made him a constant favorite of mine.
I saw him, only last summer, on the beautiful grass of Queens Club in London. He was, as always, a joy to watch. He seemed to fit in like a native.
Thank you for a reminder of his many, many near misses. Sometimes, to the spectator, a player's love of what he is doing is enough.

It has a tinge of sadness to it - after playing so long and so well. Sometimes we just have to remember that not everyone is destined or equipped to win the big ones. Some players must content themselves with moderate success sprinkled with one or two big matches. Like Roddick or like Grosjean. Roddick, at least got to several finals taking him one step further but ultimately no closer. The dominant players do just that - they dominate and take winning out of everyone else's hands. Hurray though for those that keep slugging away at it - where would tennis be without them!
