Posted on May 14, 2020 by Tara Berelc

Artificial grass mats have been steadily improving in quality since they were first introduced, primarily because manufacturing technology has improved and the materials used in the process have also become better. There has never been a better time than the present to invest in a high-quality golf mat to help improve your golf game, and to help you score better on the golf course.

What are Artificial Grass Mats Made From?

The most commonly used materials in the manufacture of artificial grass mats are nylon, polypropylene, and polyethylene. Artificial grass has now been manufactured for around 50 years, and it has become much more authentic in its look and feel, because of the improved manufacturing methods and better materials used in making the product.

Polyethylene is the most popular material used for making artificial grass blades, and when used to produce artificial grass, it must be melted down and mixed with coloring agents and additives which are resistant to ultraviolet rays. Polypropylene is used to make the thatch layer of artificial grass, which cushions the turf and provides a supportive layer.

How to Choose the Best Fishing Rod 0

Posted on January 09, 2020 by Ronald Mccarthy

Often overlooked, choosing the right kind of fishing rod is one of the most essential factors if you want to be successful in catching any type of fish. Proper placement of your bait, without spooking fish, can have a significant impact if you want to hook any fish on your fishing rod. Using the wrong rod will not allow you to cast as far or as accurately as possible. Use the right rod with a proper technique, and you can bring in lots of fish to your fish basket. The right rod should not be confused with an expensive one, as it doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to use it properly. Using the wrong rod will make it harder for you to put fish in your Livewell. If you use the wrong rod, you will often confuse snugs, hangs or collisions with a fish bite, which is, frankly, embarrassing for you. Here are a few things you can take into consideration that will help you in buying the best fishing rod for you.

Length

The length of the rod is one of the most important factors you should consider before buying a new fishing rod. These range from small 4 feet rods to long 14 feet ones, but generally, people use anywhere from 6 to 8 feet rods. The general rule is that a short rod casts short distances, while a long rod casts long distances. Shorter rods are used for fishing in close quarters like fishing in a small kayak or a small boat in a pond. Longer rods are generally used for fishing in big open waters. Considering the length of a fishing rod is key if you want to fish in small or big waters.

Posted on November 22, 2019 by John Harris

The right sports attire when you’re golfing and with any sport in general can make a difference in how well you play. It’s all about having the right level of comfort and wearing the clothing that is going to elevate and help with your performance. So here are some of the benefits that come with having the right sports attire.

Being Comfortable Is Necessary

How you feel when you’re playing a sport is important because if you’re uncomfortable, then it can do a lot more than you think. Clothing is something we all have in our wardrobes, yet we gravitate to certain clothing because we prefer how it feels on the skin. If you’re wearing the wrong shirt or trousers when playing golf, you’ll be too focused on how uncomfortable you feel than playing the holes. So being comfortable when playing a sport is necessary to contribute to a good session, whatever that sport may be. Don’t just go for something that a lot of people wear and instead pick out the clothing that you feel good in and feel at ease. No one wants to feel self-conscious in what they’re wearing either for that matter.
